Public Art on the Esplanade!

NYC Parks and the Friends of the East River Esplanade proudly present a new work by internationally renowned artist Kenny Scharf. A vibrant new banner along the East River Esplanade in Harlem, NEVERENDINGOGO spans over 60 feet and conveys the constant motion of New York City, the East River, and the FDR Drive. Scharf’s accompanying mural is painted on an idle brick column along the waterfront at 116th Street. The totem of colorful faces is painted in his recognizable cartoon-inspired style. This public artwork corresponds with an exhibition of the artist’s work at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn Harbor, NY.
