Sinkhole forces closure of section of popular NYC Esplanade

On Thursday, April 23rd a portion of the Esplanade from 93rd to 94th Street was suddenly closed by the NYC Parks Department due to the expansion of an existing sinkhole.

The sudden closure caused disruptions for people trying to get around the area.
